getting things done (gtd)
somehwere on the gtd blog over at 43folders i recently read of a simple way to improve your productivity: set your email client to check for new emails only every hour or even couple of hours (assuming you have set it to something like 10 minutes as i did). it sounds like a very simple thing but it really works. you simply don’t get distracted that often. this then allows you to reach a state referred to as flow, which means you can concentrate on your work much better.
